About AOS

Arizona Oncology Services (AOS) has been first in the region to offer leading edge treatments for over 20 years.  Our physicians provide the most comprehensive innovative therapies in radiation treatment, including IMRT, IGRT, HDR, stereotactic radiosurgery for brain tumors, and various types of accelerated partial breast therapy.  Through the not-for-profit AOS Foundation, we also give our patients access to the latest national clinical trials.

At AOS, we partner with patients and families to provide the most effective evidence-based therapy available.  We understand the fear and anxiety that cancer can create.  With this in mind, our goal is to provide the best care in the most caring environment.

Accelerated Partial Breast Irradiation (APBI) Study Receives National Recognition
A study co-authored by AOS physician Dr. Coral Quiet was recently published in the journal Cancer, and highlighted by Susan G. Komen for the Cure in the March 2008 KomenLink. The study focused on the effectiveness of MammoSite(R) treatment for early stage breast cancer as an alternative to 6 weeks of external beam therapy.  AOS physicians were the first in the state to provide MammoSite(R) brachytherapy treatments and have continued to participate in APBI studies in conjunction with the AOS Foundation.  To read the Komen site news article, click here.
