Murali G. Murty, MD, MPA

Murali G. Murty, MD, MPA joins AOS from Central Indiana Cancer Centers in Indianapolis, where he practiced general radiation oncology as well as CyberKnife based stereotactic radiosurgery. Dr. Murty received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University, followed by a Masters degree in Public Administration from New York University.  In 2003, he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry - NJ Medical School in Newark. Following an internship at Drexel University College of Medicine/Hahnemann Hospital, he completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at Drexel University College of Medicine, where he also served as Chief Resident. 

He has done research on radiation of unknown primary squamous cell carcinomas of the head and neck and surgical resection of colo-rectal cancer.  His publications include a book chapter on vascular tumors of the ocular fundus, and research on total mesorectal excision of rectal cancer.  Dr. Murty is trained in the treatment of all types of cancer, and his areas of expertise include brachytherapy for breast cancer, prostate cancer, gynecological cancers, IMRT, IGRT, CyberKnife and Linac based stereotactic radiosurgery, and TomoTherapy.

Dr. Murty is based at the AOS - Deer Valley Center and is accepting new patients.
